1. Governing Principles
All terms of delivery, risk transfer, and transportation cost allocation in VHQ's rice export contracts are governed and interpreted according to the Incoterms Rules (latest version) of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
Specific Incoterms terms for each transaction will be clearly stated in the signed Sales Contract end.
2. Process and Delivery Time
A. Preparation Time
- The time for preparing, milling, processing and packaging VHQ's exported rice is usually [X] to [Y] days (depending on the quantity and type of rice) from the date VHQ receives the deposit payment under the Contract.
- The specific schedule will be notified immediately after the Contract comes into effect.
B. Ship Schedule and Shipping
- For FOB: The Buyer must inform VHQ of the detailed shipping schedule (ship name, destination port, estimated arrival time) at least 07 days before the delivery date.
- For CIF/CFR: VHQ will arrange the shipping vessel and inform the Buyer of the schedule, container number, and specific ship information.
- Note: The sea transport time is estimated and subject to may be affected by force majeure factors (weather, port congestion, maritime incidents). VHQ will promptly notify if there are any changes.
3. Shipping Documents
VHQ commits to provide a full set of shipping documents as required by the Contract and international regulations, including:
- Bill of Lading
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Certificate of Origin
- Phytosanitary Certificate
- Certificate of Quality and Quantity
4. Cargo Insurance
- Unless the transaction is on CIF terms (VHQ purchases minimum insurance), the Buyer is responsible for purchasing insurance for the shipment goods to protect against the risk of loss or damage during transportation.
- VHQ recommends purchasing comprehensive insurance (All Risks) to maximize the protection of the Partner's interests.
